Jr. Sales Development Representative

Job Description

The Vibe: High-energy, conversational, and results-driven. No cold calling.

The Setup: Remote (must work Central Time hours).

The Pay: $1,200 USD Base + Commission

Who are we looking for?

On behalf of a top-tier home service and restoration company in Chicago, we’re hunting for a Sales Development Representative who actually likes talking to people.

If you’re the person who can strike up a conversation with anyone and you’ve got 1–2 years of experience in sales, hospitality, or customer service, you’re exactly who our client needs. They don’t want a robot reading a script; they want a confident communicator who can build rapport and close the deal.

The Role (Wait, no cold calls?)

Correct. Zero cold calling. Our client is flooded with "warm leads"—people who have already reached out asking for a quote but just haven’t pulled the trigger on booking yet.

Your job is to be the friendly professional who follows up, answers their questions, and reminds them why our client is the best in the business. You aren't selling the "cheapest" service; you’re selling the most reliable, punctual, and high-quality service in Chicago.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Turning "Maybe" into "Yes": Following up with people who already want the service but need that extra nudge or a special promotion to book.
  • Being a Brand Ambassador: Explaining why a satisfaction guarantee and being "never late" matters more than a bargain-basement price.
  • Managing the Calendar: Using the CRM (Go High Level) to schedule jobs and keep the office team in the loop.
  • Problem Solving: Navigating objections with a smile and a "can-do" attitude.

Requirements

  • 1–2 Years of Experience: You’ve worked in sales or a fast-paced "guest services" environment before. You aren't afraid to ask for the sale.
  • Near native English skills: Ability to communicate complex ideas with high fluency, neutral accent, and mastery of US-centric business idioms.
  • The "Gift of Gab": You’re an extrovert by nature. You’re persuasive, empathetic, and you enjoy the art of conversation.
  • CST Availability: You’re ready to rock during Chicago business hours.
  • Your Own Gear: You have a reliable computer, a quiet workspace, and fast internet.
  • Reliability: Our client’s brand is built on being on time, every time. They need a partner who shares that "punctual" DNA.

What’s in it for you?

  • Solid Training: A 2-to-4 week onboarding period where you’ll learn the systems and start making calls alongside the team.
  • Direct Impact: You’ll be working directly with the business owner, not buried under five layers of management.

Benefits

  • Work remotely Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends)
  • Vacation: 10 business days a year
  • Holidays: 5 National Holidays a year
  • Company Holidays: 5 Company Holidays a year (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Zipdev Day)

  • Health Care Reimbursement
  • Active Lifestyle Reimbursement
  • Quarterly Home Office Reimbursement
  • Payroll Deduction Purchase Plans
