Full Stack Engineer

Job Description

We’re seeking a Full Stack Engineer to help build scalable, intelligent infrastructure from the ground up. This is a 0-to-1 opportunity to shape how our platform operates, integrates, and scales—combining backend services, enterprise integrations, and AI-powered capabilities.

You’ll work directly with the Principal Architect & Engineer, Data Engineer, Frontend Engineer, and Product/Design team as a foundational technical leader. This is a generalist role where you’ll flex across domains based on company priorities—not operate in a silo.

Responsibilities

Core Services & Backend

  • Design and build secure, scalable backend services powering user-facing features.
  • Develop APIs, authentication systems (OAuth, JWT), and distributed processing workflows.
  • Implement storage, processing, and versioning systems for core product functionality.

Integrations & Data Pipelines

  • Build connectors to enterprise systems and third-party software.
  • Design and implement data ingestion, migration, and synchronization pipelines.
  • Optimize relational and NoSQL database performance and query efficiency.

Platform & Infrastructure

  • Architect secure, multi-tenant systems aligned with SOC 2 and compliance standards.
  • Manage AWS infrastructure (ECS, Lambda, Aurora/RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, observability, and production reliability.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and operational excellence at scale.

Frontend & Product Collaboration

  • Develop frontend workflows using React and TypeScript.
  • Integrate AI-powered features into user-facing workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with product and design to influence roadmap decisions.

Requirements

Must Have

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
  • 2+ years at an early-stage startup (0-to-1 build experience).
  • Proven experience building production-ready systems at scale.
  • Strong ownership mindset with end-to-end initiative leadership.
  • Strong fundamentals in APIs, distributed systems, databases, security, and cloud architecture.
  • Product mindset—ability to influence what gets built, not just how it’s built.
  • Must be located in Latam.

Technical Requirements

  • React, HTML, CSS
  • TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python
  • PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases
  • AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, S3, CloudWatch)
  • API design and authentication (OAuth, JWT)
  • Observability and monitoring tools
  • Security best practices and compliance awareness

Nice to Have

  • Mobile application development experience
  • B2B SaaS or enterprise software background
  • Experience with AI/ML applications or knowledge management systems
  • Data migration tools or enterprise integration systems
  • Experience building multi-tenant architectures

Benefits

  • Work remotely Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends)
  • Vacation: 10 business days a year
  • Holidays: 5 National Holidays a year
  • Company Holidays: 5 Company Holidays a year (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Zipdev Day)
  • Parental Leave
