Staff Product Manager, AI Identity & Governance - India

Job Description

About the Team:
Our Product Management team is extending identity and Zero Trust principles to new execution surfaces — including AI agents, automation workflows, and non-human identities. As AI evolves from assistive tools into systems that retrieve data and trigger actions across enterprise environments, our mission is to ensure organizations can adopt AI safely and confidently.

We focus on governing how AI accesses data, executes actions, and interacts across systems so that access remains controlled, least-privileged, and auditable.

Because this problem space is rapidly evolving, we operate with deep customer empathy and a discovery-driven mindset — using rapid prototyping, iterative experimentation, and close collaboration with engineering, design, and field teams to translate emerging needs into practical solutions.

This role focuses on governing identity execution and access control for human and non-human actors. It is not a GRC or audit-focused role.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Define and deliver capabilities that extend identity governance to AI actors, automation, and non-human identities (NHI).
  • Translate emerging AI security risks into practical governance solutions customers can adopt.
  • Design trust models for AI execution across SaaS, APIs, and enterprise systems.
  • Partner with engineering to build scalable control-plane capabilities.
  • Engage customers and field teams to validate real-world usage and adoption patterns.
  • Shape product strategy in a rapidly evolving ecosystem with ambiguous requirements.

  • You'll be Responsible for:
  • Drive product strategy by continuously interpreting customer needs, AI ecosystem shifts, and competitive dynamics.
  • Develop deep customer empathy and translate insights into outcomes through rapid prototyping, iterative experimentation, and close partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor emerging AI governance patterns, vendor approaches, and regulatory trends to inform strategic direction.
  • Advocate for customers by simplifying AI access and governance experiences.

  • You Have: Foundational Skills
  • 10+ years in product management (security, identity, infrastructure, or platform products preferred).
  • Strong understanding of identity, authentication, or access control concepts.
  • Experience delivering platform or API-driven products.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and define solutions in emerging domains.
  • Strong customer discovery and problem-framing skills.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication.

  • You Have: Technical & Domain Understanding
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust principles and security architecture concepts.
  • Understanding of SaaS integrations, OAuth, APIs, or automation workflows.
  • Ability to reason about security, trust, and governance trade-offs
