GR - Project Manager - 225

Job Description

We are looking for a strategic and process-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee back-office operations for our US-based financial services portfolio. Unlike a traditional IT PM, your focus will be on the seamless execution of accounting cycles, US tax compliance projects, and financial consultancy workflows.

The ideal candidate will be a SharePoint Power User with the ability to translate complex stakeholder requirements into structured, scalable processes. You will act as the bridge between our US clients and our LatAm delivery teams, ensuring that every deliverable meets the highest standards of accuracy and professional excellence.

Key Responsibilities

● Operational Process Design: Map, document, and optimize end-to-end workflows for accounting, tax preparation, and financial reporting.

● SharePoint Ecosystem Management: Architecture and maintenance of SharePoint sites, lists, and document libraries to ensure organized data flow and version control across multiple client accounts.

● Stakeholder Management & Interpretation: Act as the primary point of contact for US clients, interpreting their high-level demands and translating them into actionable tasks for the operational team.

● Deadline Orchestration: Manage the “Tax Season” and monthly/quarterly closing calendars, ensuring all statutory deadlines are met without compromising quality.

● Resource & Capacity Planning: Monitor team bandwidth and project timelines using tools like Microsoft Planner or similar, ensuring efficient allocation across different commercial and investor clients.

● Quality Assurance & Risk Mitigation: Identify potential bottlenecks in financial processes and implement proactive solutions to prevent errors in client reporting.

Requirements

English Fluency (C1/C2 Mandatory): Exceptional near-native communication skills.

You must be able to lead meetings with US-based partners and draft complex professional documentation.

Experience: 4+ years of experience in Project Management, specifically within Finance, Accounting, or Professional Services (Big Four experience is a strong differentiator).

Technical Mastery:

Expert SharePoint User: Deep understanding of permissions, document management, and site structure.

MS Office Expert: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint for financial storytelling.

Process Mapping: Proficiency in Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools.

Financial Literacy: Solid understanding of accounting principles, US Tax cycles, and back-office operations.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Industrial Engineering. A PMP or Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Core Competencies

Aptitude for Complexity: Ability to manage multiple clients with different requirements simultaneously.

Proactive Problem-Solving: You don't wait for a process to fail; you anticipate the gap and bridge it.

High Emotional Intelligence: Skills to navigate high-pressure deadlines (like tax seasons) while maintaining team morale and client trust.

Accountability: A strong sense of ownership over the "final product" delivered to the client.
