Job Title: Retention & Lifecycle Marketer (Klaviyo Email/SMS)
Job Type: Part-Time | Remote
Work Hours: Flexible, with some overlap with US business hours (EST preferred)

Job Overview:

We’re helping our client, Well-Kept, a fast-growing tech/beauty/lifestyle D2C brand, find a Retention & Lifecycle Marketer to own and scale their email and SMS marketing strategy.

In this role, you will audit the current lifecycle setup, rebuild and optimize automated flows, and execute ongoing campaigns inside Klaviyo while contributing to increased retention, revenue growth, and customer lifetime value (LTV).

Responsibilities:

  • Audit existing Klaviyo account, flows, and lists; identify quick wins and long-term optimization opportunities
  • Redesign and optimize automated flows (welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, etc.)
  • Own segmentation strategy (behavioral, lifecycle stage, purchase history, engagement-based)
  • Plan and execute a campaign calendar (promotions, launches, educational/content-driven sends)
  • Brief designers or use existing brand assets to build high-converting emails
  • Optimize deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and revenue per recipient
  • Set up and manage SMS flows and campaigns
  • Track, analyze, and report on performance with clear data-driven recommendations

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • 3+ years of focused D2C retention/lifecycle marketing experience
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Klaviyo (flows, segmentation, reporting, testing)
  • Proven track record of growing revenue from email and SMS for consumer brands
  • Strong segmentation and A/B testing mindset (experiments, cohort analysis)
  • Comfortable working in a scrappy startup environment (proactive, resourceful, hands-on)
  • Availability for ongoing part-time engagement (please indicate weekly availability and hourly rate)

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in beauty, lifestyle, or consumer product brands
  • Experience integrating Klaviyo with Shopify
  • Knowledge of deliverability best practices and SMS compliance
  • Experience building lifecycle dashboards and LTV reporting models
