Food & Beverage Product Developer – Premium Japanese Tea Brand (London)

A fast-growing premium Japanese tea brand based in London is seeking a Food & Beverage Product Developer to lead innovation across its award-winning matcha and green tea portfolio.

Rooted in authentic Japanese tea heritage and stocked in luxury retailers including Harrods and Selfridges, the brand partners directly with artisan tea farmers in Japan to deliver exceptional quality, sustainability, and traceability.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and commercially minded product developer to shape the next generation of premium tea experiences — from retail products to hospitality collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

-Lead new product development from concept to launch

-Lead new product development from concept to launch

-Develop innovative matcha-based and green tea beverage applications

-Conduct recipe testing, shelf-life trials, and quality evaluations

-Source ingredients aligned with premium and sustainable positioning

-Collaborate with marketing, sales, and external partners

-Monitor trends in wellness, speciality beverages, and premium FMCG

About You

-2–5+ years experience in F&B product development

-Strong understanding of beverage innovation (tea, matcha, functional drinks preferred)

-Commercial awareness and trend forecasting ability

-Passion for premium food culture and Japanese tea heritage

-Detail-oriented with strong project management skills

-London-based or willing to commute
