Job Description

  • Work within the overall release process rather than in dedicated feature teams
  • Focus on validating ready functionality — strong integration testing skills are important
  • Perform manual functional, smoke, regression, and UAT testing
  • Validate releases in staging and production environments
  • Develop and maintain test cases (Zephyr) and test scenarios
  • Run automated tests and analyze results
  • Verify correct UI display and behavior across different browsers
  • Work with logs (ELK), APIs (Postman), and message queues (Kafka)
  • Maintain test documentation in Jira / Confluence
  • Collaborate with PM and QA TL on release processes
  • Participate in QA estimation and release preparation
  • Proactively identify defects in already delivered functionality

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing
  • Experience in REST API testing (Postman, Swagger)
  • Strong SQL skills for common operations (SELECT, JOIN, UPDATE, etc.)
  • Ability to develop test cases, test scenarios, and checklists
  • Experience in testing:
    • web applications
    • client-server solutions
  • Understanding of software requirements quality criteria
  • Strong defect analysis and root cause investigation skills
  • Experience participating in the release cycle (build verification, smoke, sanity, UAT)
  • Knowledge of test documentation and QA process standards
  • Understanding of microservices architecture
  • Experience in UI testing across different browsers and screen resolutions
  • Experience working with Kafka
  • Experience working with logs and using them for defect analysis
  • Experience running automated tests and analyzing reports (Jenkins, Allure)
  • Ability to plan and estimate testing scope
  • Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and high level of self-discipline

Nice to have:

  • Strong hands-on experience with log analysis tools (ELK, Kibana)
