Technical Program Manager (TPM)

Product - Remote

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with deep expertise in data and systems orchestration to lead mission-critical initiatives across the company. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing complex workflows that power the business financial infrastructure. The TPM will prioritize and unblock key data engineering workflows, drive cross-functional system design, establish KPIs to measure progress and communicate progress on technical plans across internal stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Making data available across all of the comany: Own, ensuring everyone is set up to use and actually leverages data across the company via queries, dashboards, and alerts.
  • Managing Data Priorities & Dependency Management: manage week-to-week prioritization of data engineering and data science teams by identifying critical data dependencies, removing technical roadblocks, and ensuring efficient execution of workflows and OKRs.
  • System Implementation (e.g. ERP): Lead the deployment and integration of scalable systems to automate key processes (e.g. ERP -> financial workflows and reporting).
  • Processing Automation (e.g. Real-Time Payment Systems): Enhance and automate processes for seamless, automated transaction processing.
  • Integration & Offer Generation Optimization: Improve cross-functional workflows when integrating new partners, including QA implementation of our underwriting system and Risk analyses, while managing global timelines (such as generating loan offers across our partners) in light of integration changes
  • Technical Measurement & KPI Tracking: Define and measure technical success metrics, providing clear reporting on project progress, system performance, and business impact.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4+ years of experience in technical program management, focusing on data-intensive products/programs and systems architecture in fintech, SaaS, or large-scale technology platforms.
  • Strong understanding of event-driven architectures, real-time processing, and financial data automation.
  • Fluency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages to query and optimize data workflows.
  • Ability to translate and execute complex technical solutions into clear roadmaps for business and engineering stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in large-scale, data-intensive environments.
  • Track record of working with data teams on SCRUM, prioritization, integration, and scaling infrastructure.
  • Background in fintech payments, ledger systems, or high-frequency data workflows.
  • Expertise in data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Prefect, Dagster) and cloud-based data infrastructures (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with multi-country payment automation and banking integrations.
  • Expertise in financial data reconciliation and payment risk management processes.
