We're seeking a driven sales professional to fuel our marketplace growth by connecting with trade professionals across the Los Angeles area. You'll be the voice that introduces plumbers, electricians, painters, and other home renovation experts to our platform through strategic outreach and relationship building. This role combines cold calling expertise with data management skills to build a robust vendor network. You'll work closely with our growth team to execute targeted campaigns and ensure seamless vendor onboarding. You're a natural communicator with a persuasive voice who excels at cold calling and building relationships with trade professionals. You bring strong sales instincts and the flexibility to adapt messaging while maintaining engaging, professional conversations.

- Generate qualified leads by identifying and conducting targeted outreach to trade professionals including plumbers, electricians, painters, and home renovation specialists in the Los Angeles market
- Execute strategic cold calling campaigns to connect with decision-makers and encourage vendor registration on the marketplace platform
- Manage comprehensive follow-up sequences with prospects and ensure registered vendors complete required documentation including business licenses and insurance verification
- Track and analyze outreach performance using Google Sheets while potentially designing and executing email marketing - campaigns
- Drive vendor acquisition growth by following proven sales scripts and adapting messaging based on prospect feedback and market response

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Brings a minimum of two years of documented B2B sales or lead generation experience.
  • Has hands-on experience generating leads within the Los Angeles metropolitan market.
  • Possesses professional experience in home services industries such as plumbing, electrical, construction, or renovation.
  • Effectively communicates with small business owners, contractors, and skilled trade professionals.
  • Proven ability to identify decision-makers and navigate organizational gatekeepers.
  • Strong objection-handling skills with the ability to overcome common sales resistance.
  • Experience onboarding vendors onto digital marketplace platforms such as Angi, Thumbtack, or HomeAdvisor.
  • Proficient in managing and updating Google Sheets or comparable CRM systems for lead tracking.
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experienced in executing multi-channel follow-up sequences across phone and email.
  • Capable of managing email outreach campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp, Apollo, or HubSpot.
