Job Description

We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to work directly with customers at a fast-growing AI-powered website automation platform. This role sits at the intersection of web development, prompt engineering, and customer success.

You will guide customers across the full lifecycle, from sales demos and onboarding to implementation, optimization, and support. You will help them launch high-converting landing pages powered by AI agents while ensuring design quality, technical accuracy, and performance standards remain high.

This is not a passive support role. You will operate inside customer Slack channels, shape production-ready web experiences, and close the loop on every issue with urgency and ownership.

What You’ll Work On

Customer-Facing Engineering

  • Build tailored demos for prospective customers
  • Lead implementation from kickoff through launch
  • Represent the company inside customer Slack channels
  • Offer creative and technical guidance during brainstorming and iteration
  • Help customers expand and optimize their use of the platform
  • Drive prompt responsiveness and world-class customer experience

AI-Driven Page Creation

  • Use prompt engineering to generate pixel-accurate, production-ready pages
  • Refine AI outputs to ensure design consistency and quality
  • Extract and fine-tune design systems from customer websites
  • Collaborate with customers on landing page layouts and messaging structure
  • Review competitor sites and identify content and positioning opportunities

Web Development and Technical Execution

  • Build and refine pages using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
  • Inspect and debug layout and styling issues
  • Work within component-based architectures
  • Maintain and extend customer sites beyond initial launch
  • Ensure craftsmanship remains high while moving quickly

Issue Triage and Escalation

  • Triage complex technical questions and feature requests
  • Translate customer needs into actionable feedback for engineering
  • Drive resolution and proactively communicate updates
  • Provide clear ETAs and surface risks early

AI-Native Workflow Integration

  • Use tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude to accelerate development
  • Contribute to AI-first workflows that improve speed and consistency
  • Operate within post-sales lifecycle tools such as Pylon to manage customer success

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in web development or customer-facing engineering roles
  • Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
  • Experience building and maintaining websites for multiple customers
  • Comfortable debugging layout and component issues
  • Strong eye for design and detail
  • Experience collaborating directly with customers or creative teams
  • Strong async communication skills and confidence operating in Slack
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in fast-changing environments
  • High ownership mindset with consistent follow-through
  • Comfortable using AI IDEs such as Cursor or Copilot as part of your workflow

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Pylon, Zendesk, or similar lifecycle tools
  • Familiarity with Linear for project tracking
  • Experience with complex animations or interactive web components
  • Familiarity with AI agent development workflows
  • Startup or early-stage company experience
