About Us:

We are a fast-growing DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) eCommerce design agency specializing in creating seamless, high-converting user experiences for emerging and established eCommerce brands. Our mission is to help brands scale revenue by building an emotional connection with their audience through innovative, user-centered design and branding.

Our client base includes a combination of startups, famous DTC ecommerce brands, and legacy Fortune 1000 brands.

We seek an experienced E-commerce UI/UX/Brand designer to join our team and take the lead on branding and user experience design across all ecommerce projects. We are specifically looking for someone who can push the envelope with fresh and innovative UI designs that are balanced with conversion rate best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Carry  the design process for both UX and UI from concept to execution across multiple DTC brands.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to gather and assess user requirements.
  • Visualize design concepts through storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
  • Create graphic elements for the user interface, such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
  • Construct all technical and graphic components for a seamless user experience.
  • Design UI mockups and prototypes that showcase site functionality and appearance.
  • Present initial design drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve UX issues, such as responsiveness and usability challenges.
  • Make layout adjustments based on user feedback.
  • Develop and maintain brand identity guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Coordinate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs, from handoff to production.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and design techniques to keep the agency at the forefront of innovation.
  • Use design systems and component libraries to streamline and standardize workflows.

Requirements

Requirements and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong focus on eCommerce and DTC brands.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects for ecommerce sites.
  • Proficiency in wireframe and design tools such as Figma
  • Strong understanding of web design, responsive design principles, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience leading design projects from ideation through execution and launch.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design, usability, and interaction design principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to company leaders and clients.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, demonstrating a team spirit and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time-management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Eagerness to develop new skills

Bonus Skills:

  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento.
  • Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to better collaborate with developers.
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Experience working in a digital design agency with multiple clients
  • UI: 3 years (Required)
  • UX: 1 year (Preferred)
