We are delighted to share an exciting opportunity to join our Zip Water Sales team as a Direct Sales Account Manager. This role will be prospecting and growing business with new customers whilst developing relationships with existing clients to upgrade aged products installed.

This role will be covering across the South/South East part of the country. Travel is expected as part of the role.

OTE - £60k

What this role involves:

  • Driving delivery of both the monthly and annual sales target and build our future revenue stream via our project pipeline, based on our amazing credentials, patented technology, and after-sales care packages
  • Maintaining and growing new and existing business relationships
  • Working towards your Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and demonstrate an understanding of how you will achieve these in your 1-1 reviews
  • Maintaining customer account information by recording all activity, data, and issues on the CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Working with internal teams to ensure all customer queries are resolved seamlessly by Zip
  • Carrying out site visits and prospecting new business
  • Networking - To create or join an aligned manufacturers networking group to grow contacts within the local area.

Requirements

  • Strong background in account management & new business sales
  • Negotiation skills – naturally persuading and influencing customers whilst representing company interest to achieve a win.
  • Managing data – with a high level of attention to detail, accurately records and maintains customer data in SalesForce and compliant with GDPR guideline.
  • Lead management – successfully nurtures and converts all leads allocated.
  • Objection Handling – handling challenges from customers e.g. competition, price to secure customer business
  • Problem Solving – considering all potential causes and underlying causes of a problem and utilises all available skills and resources to fix the problem and prevent future reoccurrence.
  • Utilizes modern and current prospecting methods to research customers as well as identify new opportunities e.g. LinkedIn
  • Communication – communicates information in a clear and precise way to suit the audience and achieve the right results
  • Teamwork – establish effective team working relationships when operating within their own or other cross functional teams
  • Customer Focus – understanding the needs of external and internal customer taking action and ownership to resolve problems and exceed the expectations of the customer
  • Continuous improvement – driving Zip forward by identifying and seizing opportunities and creating ideas to continually improve performance
