If so, this ClerkMinutes Sales role combines high-volume outbound prospecting with structured trial management and real pipeline ownership.

At ClerkMinutes, we focus on helping municipalities modernize meeting management and records transparency. This role requires someone who can create opportunity through outbound activity, set qualified appointments, drive trial signups, nurture engagement, and support larger opportunities through coordinated follow-up.

You will be measured on conversations, appointments set, trial signups, pipeline progression, and CRM discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-volume outbound calling and structured email follow-up to municipal contacts
  • Set qualified appointments as a core outbound function
  • Generate trial signups as a primary outcome of outbound activity
  • Guide new trials through onboarding steps and maintain activation momentum
  • Re-engage inactive trials and drive clear next steps
  • Support progression of larger or more complex opportunities through consistent follow-up
  • Prospect and engage state associations and partnership opportunities to create scaled pipeline access
  • Maintain clean and accurate pipeline stages, tasks, and notes in Salesforce
  • Track trial source, start date, engagement status, and next step to prevent stagnation
  • Flag lead quality issues such as duplicates, incorrect contacts, or non-decision makers
    Coordinate with leadership and operations on lead distribution and process optimization

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in outbound sales, appointment setting, inside sales, or SaaS sales
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline through cold and warm outreach
  • Strong phone presence and ability to create real conversations
  • Comfortable making 80–100+ outbound calls per day when required
  • Experience driving product trials, demos, or product-led sales motions preferred
  • Working proficiency in Salesforce including activity logging, task management, and stage ownership
  • Strong written communication skills for structured follow-up emails
  • Experience selling to local government or public sector preferred
  • Experience engaging associations, partnerships, or sponsorship-driven lead generation preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, call tracking tools, and outbound email platforms

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $10–$12 USD/hour based on experience
  • Performance Bonus: Monthly bonus tied to trial signups, pipeline progression, and closed revenue contribution
  • Additional performance incentives available for exceeding quota targets and partnership-driven pipeline generation
