IT Manager

  • Hire Overseas

Job Description

We’re looking for a hands-on IT Manager to support a fast-growing, fully remote team. This role owns day-to-day IT operations across identity, access, devices, and internal systems, ensuring employees are productive, secure, and supported from Day 1.

You will manage onboarding and offboarding, troubleshoot technical issues across common SaaS tools, and build documentation and processes that scale as the company grows. This role is best suited for someone who has supported U.S.-based teams in a startup or high-agency environment, is comfortable operating independently, and takes pride in building clean, reliable systems.

Why You’ll Want to Join

  • You will be paid in USD (bi-monthly: every 15th and 30th)
  • Up to 14 days of Paid Time Off annually (starting Day 1)
  • Observance of Holidays per company guidelines
  • 100% remote setup so you can work wherever you’re most productive
  • Work on meaningful, high-impact projects with international teams
  • Join a fast-moving startup where IT is treated as a critical function, not an afterthought

What You’ll Work On

IT Operations and Access Management

  • Manage account provisioning and permissions across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Okta, VPNs, and internal tools
  • Own Okta configuration and workflows for onboarding and offboarding
  • Ensure secure, consistent access across systems for a distributed workforce
  • Support MDM configurations and device security compliance

Troubleshooting and Technical Support

  • Troubleshoot VPN issues, particularly for offshore team members accessing U.S.-based systems
  • Provide remote support for Mac and Windows devices
  • Resolve common platform issues such as SharePoint syncing, access errors, and password resets
  • Respond quickly to urgent access or system issues to minimize downtime

Documentation and Process Improvement

  • Create, maintain, and improve SOPs for IT onboarding, device setup, and recurring support workflows
  • Standardize IT processes to reduce friction and improve self-service where possible
  • Identify recurring issues and implement long-term fixes rather than one-off solutions

Cross-Team Support

  • Support access and troubleshooting for U.S. healthcare platforms when needed
  • Partner with operations and leadership to ensure IT systems scale with team growth
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for technical issues across the organization

What You Bring

  • Startup experience is required, ideally supporting fast-moving or remote teams
  • Proven experience managing IT systems for distributed workforces
  • Hands-on expertise with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Okta, and VPNs
  • Comfort supporting both Mac and Windows environments
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • High attention to detail with excellent documentation habits
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to operate independently
  • Confidence troubleshooting SharePoint collaboration and syncing issues

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting U.S. healthcare platforms such as Waystar, Availity, HCHB, or Cigna
  • Familiarity with MDM tools and remote device management
  • Basic scripting or automation experience to streamline IT workflows
