We are at an inflection point: Affirm’s expansion across products, partner distribution channels, and international markets requires a platform‑level Trust & Safety strategy that protects customers and preserves a seamless, dignified experience. As a Staff Product Manager for Trust & Safety (Fraud), you will lead that strategy, ensuring fraud prevention is embedded into the product in a way that is transparent, respectful, and customer‑first.
You will be the accountable product leader for fraud prevention across the company, driving cross‑org execution across Engineering, Fraud Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and international Product teams. This role focuses on platform leverage, multi‑team alignment, and executive‑level decision‑making, with customer trust as the north star.
6+ years of Product Management experience, with sustained ownership of multi‑team, platform‑level initiatives
Deep experience in Trust & Safety, Fraud, Risk, Payments, Fintech, or regulated, high‑scale platforms
Proven ability to define and execute multi‑year product strategy with measurable business impact
Strong technical fluency (APIs, data pipelines, ML model integration, experimentation, IDV and authentication technologies )
Exceptional cross‑org influence and stakeholder management, including executive alignment
High‑agency, autonomous leader who thrives in ambiguity and drives outcomes at scale
Metrics‑driven decision maker with strong product judgment and principled tradeoff‑making

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.)
CAN base pay range per year: $178,000 - $228,000
