The client is an educational institution seeking to expand its current Virtual Assistant team by hiring additional support staff for student loan default management. The role focuses on outbound communication and account coordination to assist graduates who are in loan default and guide them back into active repayment or appropriate default resolution processes.
Goal
Support revenue generation through effective student loan default management and payment recovery, while maintaining consistent communication with graduates and internal processing teams.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1.Outbound Student Outreach
Contact students and graduates who are currently in loan default to discuss account status and next steps.
2. Payment Recovery Calls
Make phone calls to encourage and guide borrowers toward resuming payments or entering approved repayment arrangements.
3. Account Coordination
Work closely with the default processing team to manage, update, and track student loan accounts.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of any bachelor's degree or certificate course.
• Proven Experience with Education / Student Loan Services
• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience and proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and successfully manage customer relationships
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal (at least C1 level)
• Excellent phone, email, and instant messaging communication skills
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Tech savvy & familiar with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services, CRM, and VoIP
• Proven experience with Go High Level (GHL)
• Knowledge of using AirCall (Power Dialer)
• Proactive & confident with keen attention to details
• Able to work on a graveyard shift
Software & Tools Required
• Phone system for outbound calls
• CRM or database system for managing student records and account notes
Technical Requirements:
• USB Headset with Noise Cancellation feature
• Working Webcam
• Computer with at least 1.8 GHz processor and at least 4GB RAM
• Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps cable connection
• Backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 Mbps
