ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We're seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner with a strong software engineering background to lead development teams in crafting innovative solutions. This role offers you the opportunity to leverage your Agile expertise and technical knowledge to drive product strategy, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure successful delivery across international projects with teams spanning multiple time zones.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

You'll lead the complete product lifecycle for enterprise clients, working closely with development teams, software architects, and business stakeholders across different time zones and locations. The role involves translating product vision into actionable roadmaps, managing backlogs, and writing well-defined requirements including epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. You'll leverage your technical background to participate in architectural discussions, triage development and QA tickets based on business priorities, and ensure alignment between technical solutions and client requirements. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, you'll maintain transparency through clear reporting and effective communication while coaching teams on Agile practices and continuous improvement. Occasional travel to UK and USA (0-15%) may be required depending on project needs.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

  • 8+ years of enterprise experience supporting Agile development teams in a Product Owner or similar capacity
  • Management expertise: Proven track record in conflict resolution, multi-stakeholder reporting, roadmap planning, and backlog management
  • Software engineering background: Technical foundation enabling comfortable participation in technical discussions and ability to speak technical jargon fluently
  • SDLC knowledge: Proven ability to analyze product use cases and requirements across all phases including architecture, development, testing, and deployment
  • Team leadership experience: Demonstrated success leading and mentoring engineering teams
  • International project exposure: Experience working with remote teams across multiple locations and time zones
  • Communication excellence: Strong ability to tailor communication for different audiences including technical teams, business stakeholders, and executives
  • Language requirement: Fluent English (mandatory for international client communication)

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

  • Experience with specific Agile frameworks and certifications (Scrum, SAFe, Certified Scrum Product Owner)
  • Background in market analysis and opportunity identification
  • Experience with product analytics and data-driven decision making
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and CI/CD practices
