Job Description

The Product Manager for the Authentication, Authorization & Identity (Auth) team owns Kpler’s identity strategy across all products, ensuring secure, seamless, and scalable access for internal users and enterprise customers. The role drives the roadmap for authentication, authorization, and user lifecycle management, including unifying identity systems and delivering enterprise capabilities such as SSO.

Working closely with Engineering and business teams, the Product Manager ensures high-quality, disruption-free delivery while supporting day-to-day operations and contributing to strategic initiatives such as product launches, pricing, and packaging. The objective is to deliver a best-in-class identity experience that balances security, usability, reliability, and business growth.

The is a remote role open to candidates based in France, Germany or Greece. We would require you to have full RTW in the country of application.


Key Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain the Auth strategy and roadmap, aligning identity and access capabilities with Kpler’s product vision and business objectives.
  • Own the end-to-end user access experience, including authentication, authorisation, and user lifecycle management.
  • Drive the unification of identity systems across Kpler’s products to enable a consistent, secure, and scalable foundation.
  • Lead, with the Engineering Manager, Agile and Scrum rituals (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) to ensure efficient sprint management and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering to prioritise, validate, and test new features, ensuring robust, high-quality, and disruption-free delivery.
  • Ensure compliance and security standards are embedded in all Auth initiatives, in close partnership with Engineering and Security teams, following best practices and protocols (e.g. SSO, SAML, OIDC).
  • Establish and monitor performance, reliability, and adoption metrics for authentication and authorisation systems.
  • Partner with business and product teams to support day-to-day operations and contribute to strategic initiatives such as product launches, pricing, and packaging.
  • Gather and analyse stakeholder feedback to continuously improve the identity experience for both internal and external users.

  • Skills and Experience
  • Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of Product Management experience, ideally within platform, infrastructure, identity, or SaaS environments.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex, technology-driven products in collaboration with engineering teams, with demonstrated technical aptitude.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts, including authentication, authorization, user lifecycle management, and related business processes.
  • Experience translating business processes into clear, scalable product requirements and a realistic yet ambitious roadmap.
  • Familiarity with SSO and identity standards (SAML, OIDC, OAuth2) and data protection principles (e.g., GDPR).
  • Solid grasp of platform architecture fundamentals, API-based integrations, and system design.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Customer-focused mindset, balancing usability, security, scalability, and operational needs.

  • Nice to have
  • Experience in identity, access management, or platform products.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and modern product development practices.
  • Familiarity with data protection principles (e.g., GDPR).
