Backend Software Engineer (NestJS · Microservices)

About the Role

Our client is hiring a Backend Engineer to build and scale NestJS microservices powering a modern fintech platform. You’ll own services end-to-end — from design and development to deployment and production support.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain NestJS-based microservices
• Design and ship API-driven backend services
• Contribute to architecture and service design decisions
• Write clean, tested TypeScript code
• Debug and support production systems
• Collaborate closely with product and go-to-market teams

Tech Stack: TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, BullMQ, Docker, GitHub Actions, Render

Testing: Jest, Supertest

Integrations: Stripe, SendGrid, Azure Blob Storage

What We’re Looking For

• Strong TypeScript & Node.js backend experience
• Experience with NestJS and microservices
• Solid API and relational database knowledge (PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with ORMs (Prisma, TypeORM, Sequelize)
• Comfortable with Docker, CI/CD, and testing
