Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate new business opportunities and support the sales team. The SDR will focus on identifying leads, qualifying prospects, and initiating conversations to drive pipeline growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential clients through various channels, including email, phone, social media, and networking
  • Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-up on inbound leads
  • Qualify leads based on company-defined criteria to ensure alignment with target markets
  • Schedule meetings or product demos for the sales team
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities, interactions, and prospects in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation strategies
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and outreach targets
  • Continuously learn about the company’s products, services, and industry trends
  • Provide feedback on lead quality, market insights, and sales messaging

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and professionally
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

  • Experience in B2B or B2C sales environments
  • Knowledge of sales prospecting techniques and tools
  • Familiarity with cold-calling, email outreach, and social selling
  • Interest or experience in the company’s industry or product line
