Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to own core accounting functions, oversee close processes, and ensure financial accuracy as the business scales. This role requires deep, hands-on NetSuite experience in the candidate’s current role and the ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for maintaining strong accounting controls, driving process improvements, and partnering closely with leadership to support accurate, timely financial reporting.

Core Responsibilities

• Own and manage the month-end and year-end close process within NetSuite
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Maintain, optimize, and document accounting workflows, policies, and internal controls
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Ensure balance sheet integrity and GAAP-compliant financial reporting
• Partner with leadership on financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements
• Support audits, tax filings, and coordination with external accounting and tax partners
• Mentor and review the work of junior accounting team members, as applicable

Requirements

• Current, hands-on NetSuite experience (required)
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proven experience owning close processes and maintaining balance sheet accuracy
• Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment with evolving needs
• High attention to detail with strong ownership and accountability

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience in eCommerce, retail, or consumer brands
• Prior people management or team leadership experience
• Experience scaling accounting processes, systems, or internal controls
