Software Developer Engineer in Test Co-op (Summer 2026)

Job Description

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our engineering team, supporting the development and deployment of our next-generation AI-powered cloud-based products. In this role, you will design and implement robust, scalable, and automated test solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of our cloud platform. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and other SDETs to design and implement robust cloud test strategies, automation frameworks, and validation tools. 
 
The successful candidate will flourish making meaningful contributions and elegant solutions, be determined, and manage major turning points independently in a fast-paced environment. 


What You’ll Do
  • Define and maintain an automation roadmap aligned with team goals and product evolution
  • Act as a subject matter expert in test strategy and tooling within your domain
  • Design and manage automated testing suites, including CI/CD pipeline development
  • Validate deployments across multiple cloud environments
  • Work closely with development to improve the quality of the product

  • What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in Software Development in Test with a strong focus on cloud automation
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C#, Java)
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, SDKs, and system integration testing
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based testing environments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills 

  • Nice to Have Skills
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Grafana, DataDog, CloudWatch)
  • Experience with BDD
  • AWS: S3, DynamoDB, OpenSearch
  • Exposure to security testing, performance testing, and regression strategies
  • Docker container
