  • Deliver installation capacity targets and continuously increase installs per engineer per day.
  • Implement best‑practice workflows, route optimisation, and resource planning to maximise utilisation.
  • Monitor and improve key operational KPIs including first‑time‑fix rate, installation completion rate, SLA achievement, and cost per install.
  • Ensure all installations meet compliance, safety, and quality standards.
  • Enhance productivity through technology, process improvement, and performance management.
  • Oversee large‑scale customer rollouts and coordinate nationwide deployment activity.
  • Manage contractor relationships, performance reviews, onboarding and commercial alignment.
  • Act as the escalation point for operational issues, customer concerns, and complex deployments.
  • Work cross‑functionally with sales, customer support, and technical teams to forecast demand and plan resource levels accordingly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in field service operations, telematics, automotive installation, or a related technical deployment environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing distributed engineering teams and third‑party contractors.
  • Ability to analyse operational data, identify trends, and deliver measurable improvements.
  • Track record of driving efficiency, reducing cost per job, and increasing throughput.

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to introduce new processes, tooling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally when required.
