We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong expertise in Workday PRISM Analytics and Workday Reporting to support HR analytics, integrations, and data-driven decision-making. This role will act as a subject matter expert for PRISM, partnering closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design analytics solutions, and ensure robust data governance, security, and usability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Workday PRISM and HR data subject matter expert (SME), providing consultation for integration intake and PRISM-related initiatives.
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business and data requirements into actionable Workday PRISM reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
  • Design, develop, and support Workday PRISM data ingestion, data pipelines, transformations, and aggregations.
  • Partner with reporting, HR, and other business stakeholders to recommend optimal PRISM usage and analytics approaches.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and data definitions.
  • Develop complex Workday Calculated Fields, Advanced Reports, Composite Reports, Discovery Boards, and Dashboards to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Ensure appropriate enforcement of Workday security, data classifications, and governance standards.
  • Support seamless integration between Workday PRISM and external data sources by collaborating with engineers and architects.
  • Manage testing, quality assurance, and user training for PRISM data sources and reports.
  • Track timelines, priorities, and deliverables, communicating progress clearly to business partners.
  • Stay up to date on Workday PRISM enhancements, releases, and industry best practices.
  • Establish and maintain governance around PRISM data sources, calculated fields, security, and usage.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience delivering and supporting Workday PRISM solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience in Workday Reporting.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of PRISM experience and 7+ years of Workday Reporting experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Workday Business Processes, Workday data model, security framework, and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience with data transformation, data modeling, and ETL processes within Workday PRISM.
  • Hands-on expertise in complex Calculated Fields, Composite Reports, Advanced Reports, and Dashboards.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and explain technical concepts to business users.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • High integrity and discretion when handling confidential HR data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday PRISM Analytics Certification.
  • Experience leading or supporting multiple Workday PRISM implementations or enhancements.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Workday Calculated Fields, Advanced Reporting, Discovery Boards, and Dashboards.
