Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
The HR Business Partner will focus on establishing strategic relationship with the managers, supervisors and other leaders and key stakeholders to ensure that all goals are aligned to the mission and vision of Cynet Health Philippines. He/she will function as a culture ambassador, initiator and consultant on specific areas of but not limited to Employee Onboarding and Offboarding, Employee & Labor Relations, Business Partnering, HR Data Analytics, HR Information System (HRIS), Regulatory Compliance, Benefits, Performance Management, Implementation of Company Policies, Rules and Procedures and other critical facets of HR.

COMPETENCIES
A. Knowledge
The HR Business Partner must be knowledgeable of the following:
 The relevant provisions of the Labor Code of the Philippines, its Implementing Rules & Regulations (IRR), the issuances and orders of the Department of Labor & Employment and the Philippine Data Privacy Act;
 Basic functionalities of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and other related software; and
 Creation or generation of reports using relevant HR metrics. B. Skills

Requirements

CORPORATE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following are the corporate duties and responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:

 Conducting onboarding procedures such as but not limited to induction and orientation of employees of the basic things that they need to know about the company and its processes and policies;

 Establishing and developing strategic relationship with the department leaders and other key stakeholders through scheduling regular meetings with them and understanding their business needs to ensure that they get the support needed to be successful;

 Providing pieces of advice and guidance to managers and other members of the management involving employment matters influencing management and the leadership around the people agenda to maximize service performance;

 Gathering, analyzing and providing insightful data through the use of HR metrics, illustrations, graphs and other helpful visual tools to guide the management in making decisions and offer proactive solutions, solving problems and getting to the root cause of any issue regardless of complexity;

 Ensuring the implementation of coaching procedures and disciplinary policies to resolve complex and serious employee and labor relations issues and address grievances in compliance with statutory, substantive and procedural due processes enshrined in the Philippine labor laws;

 Conducting focus group discussions (FGDs) not only with the managers and supervisors but also to rank-and-file employees to further understand the specific areas where the management needs to pay attention more to improve relationships, increase employee morale, productivity and retention;

 Developing and implementing HR programs which are effective, compliant, and aligned with the culture and practices of Cynet Health Philippines;

 Identifying HR priorities from corporate and departmental plans to translate business requirements into effective HR practices and delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives;

Spearheading performance management through the observance of the performance management cycle to help every employee realize his or her full potential so that he or she can best serve the company;

 Responding and evaluating employee requests in the People Strong System, the existing HRIS tool of the organization;

 Augmenting or assisting the Human Resources Generalist in the conducting of off-boarding procedures, including exit interviews, with the separating employees and in the completion of any administrative or clerical requests or tasks;

 Monitoring and maintaining the accuracy of daily timekeeping records;

 Managing the relationship with the HMO provider, overseeing the enrollment of employees/dependents, deletion of resigned staff, and the distribution of health cards.

 Facilitating the accurate tracking and conversion of leave credits and ensure all statutory leaves (Maternity, Solo Parent, etc.) are processed with the correct supporting documents.

 Spearhead culture-building initiatives (Townhalls, engagement activities) that reinforce company values;

 Religiously abiding with the company policies, rules and regulations, processes, Memorandum Orders, Notices, and other directives of the company;

 Oversee the administration of both mandatory and company-discretionary benefits;

 Fostering a safe working environment and harmonious working relationship with the employees, colleagues, immediate superior, and other members of the management; and

 Performing other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Human Resources Manager and/or Country Head as necessary.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

The following are the qualifications that must be met by the candidate:

 A holder of bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Administration, Human Resources Management, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Law or any other related courses;

 At least three (3) years of experience as an HR Business Partner or five (5) years of experience as an HR Generalist in a business or recruitment process outsourcing industry preferring those with supervisory or managerial experience in HR;

 Licensed Psychometrician is an advantage; and

 Certifications in HR and/or Lean Six Sigma is/are big plus.
