  • What will you be doing?
  • Support analytical activities for AML/CFT and sanctions monitoring, including heuristic analyses, customer behavior insights, and evaluation of rule-based controls.
  • Assist in designing and running A/B tests and other experiments to measure the effectiveness of monitoring strategies.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses, deep dives, and data investigations to answer business questions and support strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with engineering, data, and compliance teams to refine AML rules, improve data availability, and support regulatory and internal reporting needs.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports and KPIs, ensuring information is reliable, up-to-date, and easy to understand for key business stakeholders.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring of AML/CFT metrics, investigate anomalies, and assist in identifying emerging patterns or areas of improvement.
  • (Nice to have) Contribute to ML-based analyses or model development, supporting senior team members working on advanced detection methodologies.

  • What skills do you need?
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or relevant experience in the field
  • 2+ years of experience working with data analytics, BI, reporting or other quantitative roles, ideally in financial services, fintechs, or compliance environments.

  • Experience creating and maintaining datasets, ETLs, and dashboards.
  • Solid understanding of segmentation, heuristic analysis, and experimentation (A/B testing).
  • Exposure to AML/CFT, transaction monitoring, or financial crime prevention is a strong plus (but not mandatory).
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to key business stakeholders.
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting multiple teams simultaneously.
  • (Optional) Basic knowledge of ML techniques or familiarity with tools such as scikit-learn or SageMaker.
