Job Description

Margin Maverick (Accountant):

LOCATION: Remote work.

ABOUT RAISE AWAY - we provide kick-ass fundraising solutions to nonprofits and schools, specializing in luxury travel.

RAISE AWAY CORE VALUES: Fun, Unique, Creative

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Margin Maverick (Accountant)

Do you daydream of a world operating on spreadsheets, formulas, and data? When you hear the word “pie” you think of 3.14159265 instead of a cherry pie? Does tracking down every cent, reconciling every line item, and making sure your financial journal has more balance than a yoga guru excite you? If you answered yes to all of these, well, you just might be our first Margin Maverick at Raise Away.

As Raise Away’s inaugural Margin Maverick aka Accountant, you’ll be the eye in the sky and responsible for accurate and timely financial audits and reporting. You’d be the Head Honcho of weekly reconciliation, all AP & AR, and making sure the checks and balances are as steady as that F-14 Tomcat in Top Gun 😎. Serious shit right? Kind of is, you make sure our CEO doesn’t get too out of control when he puts on his alter ego White Horse David aka WHD outfit and donates millions of dollars worth of trips to nonprofits… but we know you’re up for the task!

If you made it this far, you are either very interested in the position, or the charisma we give off in our job postings, either way, we are totally flattered. Now to quote one of the greatest Disney movies, “Let’s get down to business…” bonus points if you can name that movie.
