Job Description

As Methodology & Content Manager at Caseware, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our audit and assurance products reflect professional standards, best practice, and the needs of global audit markets. You will help shape and drive the evolution of our assurance software suite, collaborating across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to deliver solutions that make audit smarter, more efficient, and more future-ready.



What you will be doing:
  • Act as an in-house subject matter expert on audit and assurance standards, regulatory requirements, and audit methodology.
  • Work closely with product managers and engineering to translate audit requirements into detailed product features, functional specifications, and user workflows.
  • Monitor regulatory and industry developments, particularly in the US (PCAOB, GAAS, SEC-related audit environment) and advise on product implications.
  • Support user research, product validation, and customer feedback loops to ensure real-world alignment
  • Contribute to technology-driven initiatives including process automation and incorporation of emerging capabilities (e.g., data analytics or AI features) to enhance audit efficiency.
  • Provide training and technical insight to internal and external stakeholders (sales, support, customers) to articulate the value and proper use of Caseware’s audit tools.

  • What you will bring:
  • A recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA).
  • Strong audit and assurance experience, ideally in public practice or an audit-regulated environment.
  • Good understanding of audit methodology, documentation standards, and regulatory expectations.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, including the ability to safely leverage AI outputs. 
  • Strong research skills, able to synthesize and interpret a wide range of information sources to deliver focused research. 
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex audit concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize across competing demands.

  • Preferred (but not required):
  • Pevious exposure to the US audit market (PCAOB, GAAS, SEC-related engagements).
  • Experience working on technology transformation, audit software, digital audit tools, or workflow automation projects.
  • Familiarity with data analytics or AI as applied to audit, or a strong interest in how AI can improve audit and assurance workflows.
