We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to define the test automation strategy and oversee the adoption of a low-code automation tool (Copado or similar) within a Salesforce-centric delivery landscape. This role is responsible for ensuring that automation is introduced in a controlled, pragmatic manner that supports delivery objectives, regulatory expectations, and long-term maintainability. 

The role is governance- and enablement-focused. It provides strategic direction, prioritisation, and oversight rather than hands-on automation delivery. 

What You'll Do 

• Define and maintain the test automation strategy aligned to overall QA and delivery objectives 

• Own the automation adoption approach for Copado or equivalent low-code tools, including scope, priorities, and success criteria 

• Oversee automation rollout across teams, ensuring consistent usage and adherence to agreed standards 

• Establish automation governance, including coverage expectations, quality thresholds, and reporting 

• Coordinate with Test Architects, Delivery Leads, and Engineering teams to integrate automation into release planning and test cycles 

• Ensure automation supports regression efficiency, release confidence, and risk reduction, rather than becoming a delivery bottleneck 

• Provide leadership and guidance to QA teams adopting automation, including coaching and adoption support 

• Track and report on automation progress and value, including impact on regression effort and test execution time 

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in software testing and quality assurance roles 

• 3+ years experience in a Test Manager role in enterprise delivery environments 

• Demonstrated responsibility for test strategy and test governance across multiple teams or workstreams 

• Experience leading or overseeing test automation adoption, preferably using low-code or model-based tools 

• Practical understanding of Salesforce delivery and testing, including configuration-driven change 

• Experience working in regulated or risk-aware environments (financial services preferred) 

• Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with delivery, engineering, and business teams 

What Makes You Stand Out 

• Hands-on or oversight experience with Copado, Tosca, AccelQ, or similar low-code automation platforms 

• Experience defining automation KPIs and linking them to delivery and quality outcomes 

• Familiarity with DevOps or CI/CD concepts from a governance and planning perspective 

• Experience supporting change adoption across teams transitioning from manual to automated testing
