Functional QA Engineer (API & Automation) – Mid/Senior

Role Overview

We are looking for a Mid–Senior Functional QA Engineer with experience in API testing and test automation, as well as French at B1 level, to join an international Agile team. The role focuses on validating backend services and APIs, contributing to both manual and automated testing activities in a collaborative development environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Functional QA or similar roles

• Hands-on experience with API testing (REST / Web Services)

• Experience with test automation (any relevant framework)

• Good understanding of Agile methodologies

• Experience working with JIRA and XRay

• Ability to design and execute test cases and test scenarios

• Experience collaborating with developers and product teams

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Previous experience with Web Services / API testing

• Exposure to automated testing in CI/CD pipelines

• Experience in distributed or international teams

• Interest in improving QA processes and automation coverage

Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional and API test cases

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated tests

• Validate REST APIs and backend services

• Log, track, and follow up on defects using JIRA and XRay

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities

• Work closely with developers and other QA engineers to ensure quality deliveries

• Support continuous improvement of testing practices

Language Requirements

• French – B1 level (mandatory)

• English – professional working proficiency
