As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing your own book of clients, managing a team of junior bookkeepers, and delivering exceptional client services.
What You’ll Do:
Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
Manage weekly and monthly client communications.
Supervise 1–3 bookkeepers, reviewing their work for accuracy and timeliness.
Perform and review month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Reconcile tax returns to books and records.
Set up and manage cloud-based accounting systems and integrations.
Identify and recommend process or technology improvements.
Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
Fluent English or C1 equivalent is required.
3–5 years of experience managing or supervising bookkeepers or staff accountants.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero.
Strong understanding of accrual-basis and GAAP accounting.
Experience with cloud-based accounting systems.
Preferred: exposure to public accounting, consulting, eCommerce, technology, or real estate industries.
Benefits
Compensation: $4000-$4500 USD/month + variable compensation eligibility after 6 months
