Role Overview
This Senior Full-Stack Engineer role is responsible for owning the architecture, development, and production readiness of AI-enabled web applications. The role spans backend systems, frontend interfaces, and cloud infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on reliability and scalability. You will work closely with data scientists to productionize machine learning models and integrate them into customer-facing features. The work is hands-on, execution-focused, and highly autonomous. This role is ideal for a senior engineer who thrives in ownership-heavy environments and enjoys building complex systems end to end.

By partnering closely with data science, you will enable machine learning models to deliver real business value. You will help shape engineering standards, improve deployment workflows, and ensure the platform can scale with growing user demand. Your contributions will directly support product innovation and long-term technical sustainability.
Core Responsibilities
Full-Stack Architecture & Development
- Architect and build scalable full-stack applications using Django, React, and PostgreSQL.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, well-documented APIs.
- Own backend business logic and frontend implementations for complex features.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability in production.
AI & Machine Learning Integration
- Integrate machine learning models into production web applications.
- Collaborate with data science teams to operationalize AI-driven features.
- Deploy, monitor, and support ML models using AWS services.
- Maintain real-time or batch inference pipelines.
Cloud Infrastructure & Deployment
- Deploy and manage applications using AWS services including Lambda, ECS, and SageMaker.
- Monitor production systems and troubleshoot reliability or performance issues.
- Improve cloud architecture and deployment workflows as the platform scales.
- Enforce best practices around security, observability, and uptime.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead code reviews and uphold engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers across frontend and backend work.
- Participate in architectural planning and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally during EST working hours.
Requirements
Key Requirements
Must-Haves (Required)
- 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience using Python/Django and React.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL database design and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Proficiency with AWS for web and AI application deployment.
- Ability to work autonomously and own complex systems end to end.
- Availability to work consistently during EST business hours.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)
- Experience with MLOps practices such as model versioning and inference pipelines.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
- Strong understanding of system scalability, security, and performance optimization.
- Experience in high-ownership, startup, or fast-scaling engineering environments.
