We partner with enterprises to optimize their IT operations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and innovation in the cloud. As part of our continued growth in software development and testing, we are seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to lead a broad team of developers, testers and cloud engineers delivering services to a large EU customer.

Your Role at Sedona Digital 

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery team of software developers, testers and cloud engineers, often involved in the modernization of legacy platforms and building scalable cloud-native solutions. You will ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across distributed teams, partnering with enterprise clients and cross-functional stakeholders.  

You will be responsible for:  

  • Program governance, budget control, and commercial viability  
  • Driving engineering excellence and high-performance culture  
  • Client engagement and relationship development at senior levels  

  

This is a hands-on leadership role with a strategic outlook, ideal for someone who has deep delivery experience and wants to shape impactful digital transformation programs.  

Requirements

  • Provide overall service leadership for software, testing and cloud modernization engagements delivered to customers.  
  • Act as the primary senior point of contact for the client, owning the commercial and delivery relationship to deliver excellent levels of customer satisfaction.  
  • Lead and manage the delivery team, ensuring the right skills, capacity, and performance to meet client expectations. 
  • Partner with the customer’s engineering leads to ensure exceptional performance of services.  
  • Manage cross-functional resources, including software architects, engineers, DevOps engineers, and QA/Testing specialists.  
  • Champion Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), enabling continuous delivery and iterative improvement.  
  • Drive resource planning, onboarding and hiring strategy, ensuring team scalability and capability alignment.  
  • Draft and manage Statements of Work (SOWs), delivery plans, and project financials.  
  • Participate in key client governance forums (e.g. retrospectives, planning, QBRs, steering meetings) to monitor outcomes, risks, and improvement actions. 
  • Proactively identify delivery risks and manage mitigation strategies.  
  • Advocate for best practices in software delivery, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud engineering excellence.  

 

What You Bring  

To excel in this role, you should have:  

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business or related field.  
  • 7+ years of experience in delivery within software engineering or digital transformation environments.  
  • Strong background in delivering software products and services built on modern back end (e.g. .NET, Java, Node.js) and front-end (e.g. Angular, React, Vue) technologies.  
  • Experience leading teams across cloud-native environments, including modernization or re-platforming initiatives.  
  • Understanding of testing strategies (e.g. unit, integration, regression) for managing quality-focused teams.  
  • Deep experience in Agile delivery frameworks, with proven success managing remote or distributed teams.  
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD tooling, and modern software engineering workflows.  
  • Experience working in or with staff augmentation delivery models.  
  • Strong commercial acumen: managing SOWs, budgets, cost models, and project profitability.  
  • Track record of high-quality stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences.  
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.  
  • Microsoft Azure certified. E.g. Azure Developer Associate or DevOps Engineer Expert.  
  • Experience delivering AI transformation and/or AI assisted Development / Testing.
