Job Description

​​The Quality Assurance Analyst uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience, training and/or certification to manage the testing process as part of an Agile team which may include one or more of following types of testing: Unit, Integration, Functional, System, Regression, Performance, Compatibility, and User Acceptance. 

​The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for liaising with all areas of the Datex Business and ensuring that we produce consistent user interfaces for our users, the features work per project requirements, and producing overall ease of use.​ 

Essential Job Functions 

  • ​​Assist with the creation of new testing scripts and plans 
  • ​Executes testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards 
  • ​Analyze business and technical requirement documents to create test cases and scenarios 
  • ​Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows 
  • ​Conducting and testing cases for functional requirements 
  • ​Perform root cause analysis for problem solving in test environment 
  • ​Performing user acceptance testing of software delivered from application development 
  • ​Isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects and verifies fixes 
  • ​Documents testing according to required procedures 
  • ​Familiar with software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies

Requirements

​​Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; related work experience may be substituted for educational requirement​ 

Must be available to work Eastern Standard Time - United States business hours.
