About Sustainable Ocean Alliance

Sustainable Ocean Alliance is a charitable non-profit organization dedicated to mobilizing the global effort to restore the health of oceans. Founded in 2014, the organization has built a vast network of next-generation leaders, entrepreneurs, advocates, mentors, and partners to tackle the biggest challenges facing our oceans. SOA activates young people and develops and implements innovative solutions through its various programs, including youth leadership initiatives, the Ecopreneur Network, and grassroots projects. With a mission to restore ocean health, SOA supports over 7,000 leaders in 186 countries, providing grants, mentorship, and support to startups, all while campaigning against deep-sea mining and promoting ocean conservation strategies.
