About Move Texas

MOVE Texas is a nonpartisan, nonprofit, grassroots organization dedicated to empowering underrepresented youth communities through civic engagement, leadership development, and issue advocacy. Founded in 2013 by students at The University of Texas at San Antonio, MOVE Texas seeks to transform Texas democracy by increasing youth participation in local elections and statewide voter registration initiatives. The organization focuses on mobilizing, organizing, voting, and empowering young people to make a positive impact on their communities and beyond.
